Safely Transporting Students To & From School Everyday
 
Thanks to a highly skilled bus and vehicle driver team, Prince George County Public Schools' Transportation Department helps carry thousands of students to and from schools and activities across Prince George County and the region each day.
 
In the 2022-23 school year, Prince George County Public Schools yellow school buses and other student transport vehicles carried an average of 3,507 passengers per day, utilizing 84 buses that traveled over 1.1 million miles, connecting what matters.

2023-24 Transportation Request
Students are assigned to buses according to their home address. Parents who wish for their child to ride to or from an alternate address need to submit a transportation request using the form provided on this page. Please allow up to three days to process the request.
2024-2025 Transportation Requests
Students are assigned to buses according to their home address. Parents who wish for their child to ride to or from an alternate address for the 2024-2025 school year need to submit a transportation request by clicking on the button below.  Deadline for these requests will be August 2, 2024.
