PGEC Families,

Welcome to the 2021-22 school year!   The start of a new school year is always a time of anticipation and excitement.  For some it is time to pick up where we left off and for some it is time for a clean slate; time to show growth and maturity.   Our relationships with our families is one of the factors that makes our school family unique and this year the strength of our relationships will be more important than ever.   We will continue to hold our students accountable to high expectations and we will challenge them to set goals and to exceed their own expectations.   Our teachers and staff will strive for academic excellence, while also modeling what it means to have strong character, work ethic, and sound judgement.

A school is more than a building where students come each day to learn, but rather an instrumental part of a community and a place where life lessons are learned; lessons that extend far past graduation.    I am proud to be the principal of the Prince George Education Center and I look to build on the strong foundation of excellence that has been established here.  Our staff is dedicated to the success of all students and we believe that all students have the ability to grow and achieve.  As we all know, educating a child truly takes a village and we are in this TOGETHER along with our students and our families.  I look forward to partnering with you and I know that it is going to be a great year.

Sincerely,

Burke George
Principal
