Prince George County Public Schools is inviting aspiring and experienced educators, as well as individuals with a dedication to serving the children and families of our special community, to attend the division's final Teacher Job Fair event of the 2023-24 School Year on Thursday, May 16, 2024, and learn more about teaching and support positions with our district.

Maintaining a similar format as sessions in previous years, school-level and division leaders will be on-site to share information and conduct interviews with candidates. Virtual interviews with division staff are also available. Those interested in a virtual interview session are encouraged to email [email protected].

Additionally, while the event is focused on instructional opportunities with PGCPS, job seekers interested in job openings within other departments, including support services, transportation, food service, and student services, are invited to attend the event.
Learn About Affordable Pathways to Teacher Licensure
PGCPS’ Teacher Job Fair will also feature representatives from iteach, who will be available to answer questions about alternative pathways to teacher licensure. In 2023, Prince George County Public Schools partnered with iteach Virginia to help aspiring educators achieve their teaching goals through an affordable certification program that prepares them for a career in education.
Sign-On Bonuses, Stipends Available for Select Teaching Positions
Our division is offering $1,000 early sign-on bonuses for the upcoming 2024-25 School Year for licensed teaching positions. There are a limited number of these bonuses, so applicants are encouraged to apply early! Additionally, PGCPS is offering stipends to candidates hired within some critical shortage areas, including:
- Special Education Teacher - $2,000
- Career & Technical Education For Credit Teacher - $1,500
- Math For Credit Teacher - $1,500

Appointments are now being accepted for our Teacher Job Fair. Attendees are encouraged to register early to ensure they receive their desired time slot, as session times can fill quickly. To schedule a time to meet with our team, click HERE.
