The following information has been provided by the Virginia Department of Transportation regarding a planned temporary traffic pattern at the intersection of Courthouse Road (Route 106) and Bull Hill Road. (Route 630) beginning November 4, 2024.
FOR FAMILIES: Pick-up and drop-off times for students impacted by the road closures will be adjusted to accommodate the detour travel time. These families with transportation changes due to the closures will be contacted directly by transportation staff by the end of the day on October 31.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will implement lane closures as part of the intersection improvement project at Route 106 (Courthouse Road) and Route 630 (Bull Hill Road) starting on Monday, Nov. 4, 2024.
Closures will take place in two phases to include a section of Route 630 (Bull Hill Road) at the Route 106 (Courthouse Road) intersection for approximately three weeks, followed by lane closures on Route 106 (Courthouse Road) for an additional three weeks.
Lane closures are expected to remain in effect until mid- December.
Drivers should follow the posted detour routes:
From the south: Take Route 460 (County Drive) east, to Route 156 (Prince George Drive) north, to Route 106 (Courthouse Road) south to Route 634 (Allin Road), to Jefferson Park Roundabout.
From the north: Take the Jefferson Park Roundabout to Route 634 (Allin Road), to Route 106 (Courthouse Road) north, to Route 156 (Prince George Drive) south, Route 460 (County Drive) west.
