Summer Meals Available For Prince George County Children Beginning June 9 through June 26

As the summer gets underway, Prince George County Public Schools will be offering free summer meals during the month of June through the SUN Meals program provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Meals will be provided to all children 18 years old and under without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, or age, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. 

Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis at the sites listed below from June 9 to June 26, Monday through Thursday. Children must remain onsite while consuming their meals.

  • David A. Harrison Elementary School (12900 East Quaker Road)
  • J.E.J. Moore Middle School (11455 Prince George Drive)
  • Prince George High School (7801 Laurel Spring Road)

Note: Meals will not be served on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, or on June 19, 2025, due to the holiday closure. 

Meals will be served at the following times:

  • Breakfast: 8:30 a.m. - 9 a.m.
  • Lunch: 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Note: Meals must be consumed onsite. 

Program information may be made available in languages other than English.
