Prince George County Public Schools has been approved to participate in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, a program dedicated to inspiring a love of reading in children by providing free books to children from birth to age 5.
Born as a service to support Dolly's hometown in Sevier County, Tennessee, in 1995, the program has evolved to span five countries and give over three million free, high-quality, age-appropriate books each month to children around the world, and now, the children of Prince George County.
Families are encouraged to register today to begin receiving one free book each month until their child turns five. These books are personalized with their child's name and mailed directly to their home every month.
