An Overview of the District's Delay & Closure Procedures
The health and safety of Prince George County Public Schools' students and staff are of the utmost priority. Circumstances during a school year, such as inclement weather or a building-related issue, may require the district to close some or all of the district's campuses.
When this occurs, the school division will use its communications assets and partnerships with local media to share closing-related information with families and employees. Please see the information on this page for an overview of the division's closing procedures, code definitions, and more.
