At Prince George County Public Schools (PGCPS), our Human Resources Department is committed to supporting the people who make our school division exceptional. We serve as strategic partners to employees, leaders, and the School Board — ensuring that every member of our team is supported, valued, and positioned for success.

Our work extends far beyond recruitment and compensation. Human Resources provides comprehensive services across the entire employee lifecycle, including:

We collaborate closely with district leadership, school administrators, and department supervisors to cultivate a positive, professional work environment grounded in equity, accountability, and service to students.
