Safely Transporting Students To & From School Everyday
 
The Transportation Department helps transport thousands of students to and from schools and activities across Prince George County and the region each day, thanks to a team of highly skilled bus and vehicle drivers. In the 2018-2019 school year, Prince George County Public Schools Yellow School Buses carried an average of 5,151 passengers per day, utilizing 99 buses that traveled a total of 680,100 miles connecting what matters.

2023-24 Transportation Request Deadline Approaching
Students are assigned to buses according to their home address. Parents who wish for their child to ride to or from an alternate address need to submit a transportation request using the form provided on this page. The deadline for transportation requests is August 4, 2023. Any request received after this date will be held until September 29, 2023.
