June 2023
  • As Prince George County Public Schools enters the summer months, the division continues to work with Fort Gregg-Adams representatives to ensure minimal impacts to military-connected families receiving new school assignments for the 2023-24 School Year.
May 2023
  • On May 4, 2023, Prince George County Public Schools mailed letters home to families with students who have been assigned to new schools for the 2023-24 School Year. Each letter included a portion to be removed, signed by the student's parent/legal guardian, and returned to their current school as confirmation of their receipt of the letter.
April 2023
  • Prince George County Public Schools rolled out a document outlining school assignments by street name beginning for the 2023-24 School Year. 
  • Prince George County Public Schools hosted its Kindergarten Registration Night event at Prince George High School on April 27, 2023. During the event, families had the opportunity to review school assignments via the street listing document and with assistance from school staff.
March 2023
  • Prince George County Public Schools met with Fort Gregg-Adams military base leadership to continue discussions relating to the elementary boundary adjustment project and minimizing impacts on families living on-base.
February 2023
  • Prince George County Public Schools launches 'Balancing Enrollment' web page with resources and information, including interactive school locator map, and background on the current project, with the goal of updating the page regularly with new and relevant information.

  • Prince George School Board Selects Option 2C for Elementary Attendance Boundaries Beginning in the 2023-24 School Year
