Instructional Services

The Instructional Services Department supports teaching and learning across Prince George County Public Schools by providing leadership, resources, and guidance for curriculum, instruction, assessment, and academic programs. The department works closely with schools to ensure students have access to engaging, high-quality learning experiences that prepare them for success in school and beyond.

Instructional Services oversees curriculum development, instructional support, state and local assessments, professional learning, and academic program implementation. The department collaborates with teachers, administrators, and support staff to strengthen classroom instruction, promote student achievement, and ensure alignment with state standards and division goals.

The department also supports a variety of educational programs and initiatives designed to meet the diverse needs of learners while helping students develop the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed for future success. Through continuous improvement and innovation, Instructional Services works to support excellence in every classroom and every school.
